One of the most influential musicians in the electronic music scene will be finally making an appearance after a three year walk in the desert. After 10 top albums including 2 number 1's and over 100 million singles and albums sold worldwide, Depeche Mode is without a doubt the most enduring band still standing strong from the popular "new wave" scene of the 1980's. The band has released a long series of high charting singles over three decades. Last year in a press conference in Paris, the band announced a new tour for 2013 to promote the new album "Delta Machine".

Depeche Mode has always seemed to have a permanent attraction with the Berlin audience, they were one of the limited bands who ever played at the GDR, and when asked about their influences, Kraftwerk is always named as one of the major ones. "We sing about emotions accompanied by electronic music, Germans like that kind of thing." Lead singer David Grahan explains.

POKKETMIXER is no exception to the Berlin dominated German fan base. The band being one of the first acts to establish a musical identity based completely around the use of synthesisers, every respectable musical instrument having contributed to the proliferation of electronic music, must pay their respects to the entities who paved the way for them. POKKETMIXER recognises this, and will be ensuring to gain a respectable seat on all three Berlin tour dates.

Depeche Mode Berlin tour dates: 9th June at Olympiastadion, 25th & 27th November at O2 World.
